The Holy Rosary

The holy rosary is a string of prayer beads used as a guide when doing a sequence of prayers devoted to the recollection of the life of Jesus.  The term comes from the Latin word rosarium which translates to “crown of roses” or “garland of roses”. It is a Marian devotion taught by Saint Louis de Montfort.  October is the month of the Holy Rosary.
